Irina Zakoshanski, Executive Manager, Business and Corporate Affairs MSc (Env Chem & ChemEng), MRACI C CHEM, AIMM
Irina is responsible for the management of company operations. She has overall responsibility for the company's clinical, finance services, product development, business development, training development, marketing and sales, technology/computing services, human resource management and administration. Irina brings more than 10 years of extensive experience in management of a wide range of commercial research, consulting and other projects, preparation and submission of tender proposals (with approximately 40% success rate) and identification of development strategies.
Donna Fenech, Executive Clinician BSc, GDSc(Psych), MSpEd RegPsychol, AMAPS
Donna is a Registered Psychologist and has a Masters in Special Education from Macquarie University where she was awarded the Vice Chancellor's Commendation for Academic Excellence. Donna has worked in inclusive pre-school and school settings providing developmental and educational programs for children with disabilities. She has worked in private and school settings with children with autism spectrum disorders and their families providing programs using applied behaviour analysis and Positive Behaviour Support. She has worked with children implementing social and emotional programs using a cognitive behaviour therapy framework. She has also worked with adults in the fields of pain management and drug and alcohol. Donna has extensive MULTILIT instructional experience delivering instruction across all programs. She conducts student assessments, feedbacks, parent and staff training and ongoing tutor supervision and observation. As the Executive Clinician Donna manages all Clinic activities and is responsible for all clinical programs.
Kyle Pitt, Professional Training Manager BA (Psychology), PG, Dip Spec. Ed.,
Kyle has a Psychology Degree and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Special Education from Macquarie University. He has had extensive experience using the MULTILIT Reading Tutor Program in a variety of contexts including Macquarie University Special Education Centre in Sydney, and in MULTILIT Community Projects working with socially disadvantaged students, where he was the senior instructor.
Dr Saskia Kohnen, Post-doctoral Research Fellow MULTILIT Research Unit BA (Hons) Potsdam University, PhD Macquarie University
Saskia is a cognitive scientist and has an overseas degree in Linguistics and Speech-Language Pathology. After completing her PhD, she became one of our MULTILIT instructors in Coen, Cape York. Saskia joined the MULTILIT Research Unit in July 2009 and holds a joint appointment as a post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Macquarie Centre for Cognitive Science (MACCS), within the Institute of Human Cognition and Brain Science at Macquarie University. Saskia has received a number of research honours, including the 2009 LDA Tertiary Student Award for her PhD. The online testing interface (motif.com.au) that includes two assessment tools based on her research was highly commended at the 2009 Macquarie University Innovation Awards. In 2008, she was highly commended for an exceptional research study in the area of learning difficulties by Learning Difficulties Australia. Saskia's research interests include developmental reading and spelling difficulties; the evaluation of literacy interventions; cognitive neuropsychology of reading and spelling; single case intervention methodology and educational outcomes for Indigenous students.
Alison McMurtrie, Business Development Manager
BPrim Ed, PGDip, SPLD Alison has a degree in teaching and a post-graduate diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties from the UK. She has a wealth of teaching and training experience in the area of literacy in South Africa, the UK and now Australia. She has worked in a variety of settings, including the not-for-profit sector in London where she was involved in the setting up of literacy units in inner-city schools.
Elizabeth Ryan, Sales and Marketing Manager B BUS (Marketing)
Elizabeth Ryan is the Sales and Marketing Manager of MULTILIT. She has a Bachelor of Business (Major in Marketing) and over twenty years of marketing experience including product development, product management, marketing communications and advertising, sports marketing and sponsorship. She has previously worked as Product Manager for The Adelaide Bank, as Advertising and Marketing Communications Manager of St. George Bank, and as Marketing Manager for The Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (SOCOG). She has also managed marketing programs for companies such as VISA, Westpac, Tourism NSW, TAFE NSW, ADECCO and many not-for-profits, such as The Fred Hollows Foundation and Royal Blind Society of NSW.
Rose Ye, Finance Manager CPA
Rose looks after payroll, inventory, accounting and taxation of MULTILIT. Prior to joining MULTILIT, she worked for Access Macquarie Pty Ltd for four years. She has extensive experience in Payroll, System designing, implementing and administration, financial accounting and reporting.
